二、定性

1、名词性从句：

   A、主语从句

   What he wants to tell us is not clear.

   显然，大多数学生学英语时，只注重做题而忽视真功夫。

   It’s obvious that most students are keen on doing exercise and ignore to have a good command of English itself when they study.

   主（形式）+系+表+主语从句

Who will win the match is still unknown.

明天，这个城市的温度如何，尚不得而知。

How the temperature of the city tomorrow will be is still unknown.

It is known to us how he became a writer.

(How he became a writer is known to us.)

Where the English evening will be held has not yet been announced.

汉译英：

1、我是好是坏，由公众评判。

Whether I’m good or not is for the public to judge.

It is for the public to judge whether I’m good or not.
