加强形容词的语气，主要用来作表语或修饰名词：

   very good; rather bad

1.Your spoken English is very good.

2.You can speak very good English.

3.Her examination results is rather bad.

汉译英：

1、你太晚了。明天你必须早起。

     too late. You must get up early tomorrow.

2、那鱼躺在哪里。它快要死了。

   The fish lies there.   almost dead.

       really pretty.

      badly ill.
